Tasha Stanton serves as Chief of Staff at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation. Her portfolio includes leading strategic special projects and partnerships and spearheading initiatives that advance the Foundation’s mission. She oversees a host of efforts related to diversity and inclusion, including content and strategy for engaging our Advisory Committee for African American Affairs (ACAAA) and Monticello Young Advisors (MYA). In her current role, she guides speaker selection and event strategy for the Foundation’s annual Signature Events (including the awarding of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medals and the Fourth of July), donor cultivation events, and ad hoc conferences and symposia.

Stanton began her career at Monticello as a volunteer and has served in a variety of roles since 2012, including coordinating the domestic and international fellowship programs at the Robert H. Smith International Center for Jefferson Studies (ICJS) and managing special projects, both in the President’s Office and as part of the Content and Strategy team.
