All fellows are required to reside in the greater Charlottesville area during their fellowships. In most cases, ICJS Fellows are offered free use of Foundation-owned properties located on or near the Kenwood campus.

These properties are fully furnished and feature at least one bedroom, one full bathroom, and separate living/study space. Meals are not included in the fellowship, but each property has a kitchen that is stocked with housewares. Sheets, towels, and laundry facilities are also provided. Ample parking is available.

Availability for these properties is limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis. In instances where no fellowship housing is available, the Center will assist fellows in finding accommodations nearby at their own expense. All residences are non-smoking and while human guests are allowed, pets are not (service animals are not considered pets).
