Fellow's Forum announcement example
We will need to make arrangements for your Fellow’s Forum as soon as possible. During the busy spring and summer season, it is important to give as much notice to staff, fellow researchers, and library volunteers as possible so that they may plan to attend. Please use the above example as a template and provide your preferred presentation date, a project title and description, and some brief biographical information.
A few important details to consider when writing your description:
- The talks are fairly small, with attendance generally limited to some foundation staff, fellow researchers, and library volunteers.
- Forums take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 pm and you will want to pick a date close to the end of your fellowship.
- Forums last around 40-45 minutes to leave time for a 15 minute Q & A
- Be thinking ahead as to whether or not you plan to use a PowerPoint for your presentation. Not everyone uses one, so it is not mandatory.
- Forums will be held virtually as a Zoom webinar and the recorded program will be available for later viewing.
