Like countless others over the centuries, Thomas Jefferson read Shakespeare and owned a number of his works. On Tuesday, March 16, Thomas Jefferson (interpreted by Bill Barker) discussed his regard for Shakespeare and, despite his general caution toward fiction, the lessons that Jefferson gleaned from the Bard’s writing.
