The Digital Archaeological Archive of Comparative Slavery (DAACS), headquartered at Monticello, is a collaborative, online database that compiles information about excavations of slavery sites around the world. Designed to advance comparative archaeological research, DAACS helps broaden and advance our historical understanding of slave-based societies in the Atlantic World.
