Monticello is proud to offer U.S. military veterans free admission to Monticello for Veterans Day weekend, November 9-11, 2024. Admission is for the Gardens and Grounds Pass or the Highlights Tour. The discount does not apply for special or after-hours tours, such as the Private Behind-the-Scenes Tour, and is based on availability.

How to Get Your Tickets
Reserve Online and Pick-up In Person (Recommended)
- Use the Gardens and Grounds Pass or the Highlights Tour online ticket pages to buy ticket(s). The cost of each veteran ticket will be refunded onsite.
- If visiting with others, please purchase tickets for ALL persons in your traveling party (including any veterans).
- Come into our Ticket Office on the day you visit and to receive a refund for the veteran service member ticket(s).
- You must have the credit or debit card used to purchase the original ticket(s) with you to receive the refund.
Get Tickets in Person
- When you arrive at Monticello, visit our Ticket Office to get your free Veteran’s Day ticket(s).
- Tours are dependent on availability and can sell out.
