Join us at the Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants (CHP) for our first fall plant sale. We'll have a variety of flowers, trees, shrubs and seeds available for purchase. Our knowledgeable nursery staff will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.

With native hardwood forest, deep ravines and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the trail winds its way toward Monticello and back in a very manageable four miles. A maximum grade of 5% keeps it completely accessible to walkers, cyclists and those in wheelchairs.

This 2.5 hour, guided, small-group, interactive tour explores Monticello through the perspectives of enslaved people who labored on the plantation. Similar tour previously titled the "Hemings Family Tour."
