We at Monticello are saddened by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. We had the honor of welcoming the Queen and Prince Philip to Monticello in July 1976. The couple toured the house and grounds as part of a six-day Bicentennial state visit.
We offer our condolences to Queen Elizabeth II’s family, friends, and all who mourn her loss.
